We're up for a Webby Award

  • Nouvelles
A project by FFunction has been nominated for a Webby Award. A Webby Award is an award for excellence on the Internet presented annually by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body composed of over two thousands industry experts and technology innovators. The nomination denotes that the project, (UN)TRAFFICKED, ranks in the top five in its category (Public Service & Activism) and is eligible to win both the Webby Award and a People’s Voice award.
(UN)TRAFFICKED is an interactive digital story with strong gaming elements, and forms the digital centrepiece of a large-scale campaign led by Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi to end child exploitation in India. The narrative of (UN)TRAFFICKED is based on the classic choose-your-own-adventure format, in this case following a 13 year old girl over the course of a life-changing week.
Voting for the Webby People’s Voice awards closes on Thursday 19 April, and all Webby Award winners are announced at the official ceremony in New York on Tuesday 24 April. You can help FFunction scoop a People’s Voice Award and shine a brighter spotlight on the issue of child trafficking and abuse in India by voting here
